Metalized PET Film is a high-performance polyester film coated with a thin layer of metal, typically aluminum, through a vacuum metallization process. 1.  Stable Optical Density & Reflectivity Control

   Produced with high-precision vacuum metallizing lines (up to 2750mm width), the aluminum layer is evenly deposited to ensure consistent Optical Density (OD 0.1–5.0). Tight OD tolerance control helps maintain stable reflectivity (up to 97% radiant heat reflection for insulation grades), minimizing batch-to-batch variation and ensuring reliable performance during lamination and continuous production.

   
   

2.  Excellent Barrier Performance

   The dense aluminum layer significantly enhances moisture and oxygen barrier properties. Product Uses

1. Reflective Insulation Systems

   Metallized PET film is widely used as a radiant barrier layer in building and industrial insulation systems. With reflectivity up to 95–97% (depending on optical density and structure), it effectively reduces radiant heat transfer and improves energy efficiency.

   It is commonly laminated with PE coating, woven fabric, bubble film, or foam to produce roof insulation, wall insulation, HVAC duct insulation, and other multi-layer reflective insulation materials.
